Prior to forming Competitive Business Research, Kathleen Rainwater was the corporate librarian for Gates Corporation from 1983 to 2009. In this position, she provided research support to the strategic planning teams; provided competitive industry and business research for the business development teams and provided company profiles to the mergers and acquisition team.
Kathleen Rainwater holds an MBA and MLIS degree from the University of Denver; she is a member of the Association of Independent Information Professionals, the Special Libraries Association and the Society for Competitive Intelligence Professionals. All work done by Competitive Business Research is in strict compliance with the Association of Independent Information Professionals' Code of Ethical Business Practice.
